Our present state is just a dream

In a Zoom meeting on 1st September 2021 Sean and Michael discuss various aspects of the teachings of Bhagavan Ramana, particularly his teaching that our present state is just a dream. Sean begins this discussion by referring to and asking questions about Michael’s most recent article: Is anything other than ourself intrinsically existent?

ஓங்கா ரப்பொரு ளொப்புயர் வில்லோ

ōṅkā rapporu ḷoppuyar villō
     yuṉaiyā raṟivā raruṇācalā

பதச்சேதம்: ஓங்கார பொருள், ஒப்பு உயர்வு இல்லோய், உனை யார் அறிவார் அருணாசலா?

Padacchēdam (word-separation): ōṅkāra poruḷ, oppu uyarvu illōy, uṉai yār aṟivār aruṇācalā?

English translation: Arunachala, import of Ōṁkāra, you who are without equal or superior, who can know you?

Explanatory paraphrase: Arunachala, import [meaning or substance] of Ōṁkāra [the syllable Ōm], you who are without equal [or anything similar] or superior, who can know you [as you are]?
