In a Zoom meeting with Ramana Kendra, Delhi, on 12th December 2021 Michael James answers the following three sets of questions about Bhagavan’s teachings, particularly the practice self-investigation and self-surrender:
- Can Drig Drishya Vivek be helpful in Self enquiry and abiding in the Self? Are there any other helpful techniques to hold on to the "I" better and longer?
- Can you tell us a little about Sadhu Om and his advice to devotees?
- Does Ramana suggest the attitude we should have when facing a difficultly e.g. an incurable, progressive illness?
While answering these questions, Michael also discusses the meaning and implications of various passages from Bhagavan’s writings, including Nāṉ Ār?, Uḷḷadu Nāṟpadu, Upadēśa Undiyār, Upadēśa Sāram, Śrī Aruṇācala Akṣaramaṇamālai, Śrī Aruṇācala Padigam and Aruṇācalaramaṇaṉ.
