The clutter and space analogy

In a Zoom meeting with Ernesto and Carlos of ‘Yo Soy Tu Mismo’ (a group of Spanish devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramana) on 6th October 2021, Michael James answers the questions:
“Bhagavan uses the analogy of a room filled with furniture versus the space that contains everything. If we want to see the space of the room, our true nature, we just have to get rid of the furniture and rubbish we find there so the space shines forth. Turning within doesn’t mean that we should attend to the space instead of the furniture? In what sense do we need to get rid of the furniture and rubbish? What does that mean?”
While answering these questions Michael refers to and/or discusses the following passages from Bhagavan’s works:
Uḷḷadu Nāṟpadu verses 24, 25, 26 and 40
