There is just one ego

In a Zoom meeting with ‘Yo Soy Tu Mismo’ (a group of Spanish devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramana) on 15th August 2021, in answer to the questions, “I can understand that everything, including "the others" are an emanation of my mind. What I fail to understand is whether they in turn dream of me. Otherwise, it is as if my experience is "personalized" and independent of that of others. Which seems like a crazy idea to me. Yes, I understand that according to Prarabdha Karma everything has been determined in a perfect way for my best development, but it is not independent of that of "the others" and their Prarabdha Karma, is it? That there is only one Ego experiencing itself in a multitude of bodies I can assimilate (more or less). What I fail to see is whether the other bodies see me as I see them”, Michael James explains why Bhagavan taught us that there is just one ego, and then answers more questions about this and other aspects of Bhagavan’s teachings, particularly the practice of self-investigation and self-surrender.
